Nodaway County health officials confirm 28 more cases of COVID-19


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department confirmed 28 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says this now brings the total number of confirmed cases up to 1,116, with 95 probable cases.

Health officials say there are currently 191 active cases and Northwest Missouri State University says 70 of those active cases involve Northwest students or employees.

Health officials add that there are six current hospitalizations. Officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance and practice good hygiene.
